Liked the lip gloss

Got a Lip Gloss from Gerard Cosmetics. It was shiny but not sticky, which I really liked. Came pretty fast, too. Happy with it.

Great value on lipstick

I was looking for a good deal on liquid lipstick and found Gerard Cosmetics. I got a HydraMatte Liquid Lipstick during a buy one get one free sale. It felt like a really good deal for the quality. I like finding ways to save, and this definitely helped my budget. Worth it.

Decent products, slow shipping

I purchased the Slay All Day Setting Spray and a Lip Pencil. The products themselves are pretty good; the setting spray does help makeup last longer, and the lip pencil was creamy. The website was easy enough to navigate. My main issue was the shipping time; it took over a week to arrive. I've had faster delivery from other beauty brands. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus, but I wish the initial delivery was quicker. Still, I'd probably buy again if there's a good sale.

Smooth order, good quality

I ordered the HydraMatte Liquid Lipstick in "Immortal" and the Rose Water Setting Spray. The ordering process was straightforward on their site, no real hiccups there. Shipping took about 6 days to get to me in Florida, which was pretty standard. Both products arrived well-packaged. The lipstick's color was true to the online swatch and it did last through my workday, which is always a plus. The setting spray gave a nice, subtle finish. I had a quick question about ingredients and used their contact form; got a reply within 24 hours, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid experience, no major complaints.

Are these products actually cruelty-free? It says on the site but sometimes brands say that and it's not really true.

C Cleo Romero 1 month ago
From what I've seen, yes, they're genuinely cruelty-free. They've been around for ages and it's a big part of their brand. I trust it.

Yep, they are. That's one of the main reasons I started buying from them years ago. They're pretty transparent about it.

Anyone know if they do student discounts? Trying to save some cash on a new setting spray.

J Jared 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! I used one last semester. Check their site, there's usually a link to verify your student status.

Can confirm, they have one. I think you just need to sign up through some third-party thing, can't remember the name right now, but it works.

What's the deal with their coupon codes? Can I use like, an influencer code AND get a free gift with purchase?

K Kevin 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. I've tried to stack before and it never works. Usually, the free gift just automatically adds if your cart meets the requirement, separate from the discount code.

You can only use one code. If there's a free gift promo, that usually applies automatically if your order qualifies, you don't need a code for that part.

How do Gerard Cosmetics HydraMattes compare to, say, Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks? I love Dose but always looking for new faves.

E Emma 1 month ago
They're pretty comparable in terms of wear time and comfort, I think. Gerard Cosmetics might have a slightly wider range of unique shades. I find Dose of Colors a bit more moussey, while GC is thinner but still opaque.

Honestly, I prefer GC. I feel like the HydraMattes are less drying than Dose of Colors and last just as long, if not longer on me. Plus, their unique shades are killer.

Are they usually part of the Black Friday sales? Want to stock up on some setting spray refills.

A Andre E. 2 months ago
Oh absolutely. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are usually their biggest sales of the year. Expect some pretty deep discounts, like 40-50% off. Definitely wait for that if you can!

100% yes. That's when I do all my Gerard Cosmetics hauls. Keep an eye out for bundle deals too, not just individual items.
